Creative Solutions’ lead consultants are Helen and Robert Simmons, who are based in North Norfolk, and are supported by a small administrative team.

Helen firmly believes that an organisation’s key assets are not its products, but the people who ‘sell’ that product to its customers and it is this belief that led Helen to develop the training and development side of Creative Solutions. As an experienced training consultant with an established client base across a number of industry areas, she works with both individuals and teams, helping them to develop their management, communication and interpersonal skills.

Over the past 25 years Helen has gained a wealth of experience in a number of private and public sector organisations. It is her experience as a line manager in these different organisations which provides the foundation of her training practice; being able to identify the issues facing people in such challenging times.

Helen is professional and approachable, providing a safe environment where individuals and teams can enjoy experiential learning whilst gaining background knowledge, in readiness to apply what they have learned back in their workplace.

For the past 12 years Robert has been working with tourism businesses in Norfolk – covering all aspects and challenges that face this industry. He also has extensive experience in helping to build public/private sector partnerships and of grant funding. Prior to moving to Norfolk Robert was employed for over 25 years as a senior manager involved with employment practices and law, project management, financial management, organisational development and systems review and improvement.

Robert leads on project management and business development projects and is the ‘finance man’, working to achieve solutions that are right for the business and fit in with both the budget and the operational capabilities of the client organisation.
